I saw an example recently on FB where a mom was regretting circumcising her son. Half the intactivists wanted to comfort her and attempt to bring her to our side.
Half wanted to revile and shame her while she was in emotional turmoil (kick her while she’s down).
Using this game theory model (which probably isn't the tool to use there, but you posted it on this article, so) she is co-operating, so the right move is to co-operate as well.
